February 28th - March 4th (Week 4)

Hello!!!

We´re ready to work. This week will be interesting. You must work hard to get good grades. Students will have their Unit 1 test (Written test). Good Luck and have a wonderful week!!! :)





Monday 28th


We´ll have a test review, checking the WB´S answers and answering questions if necessary. The review is going to have information of all unit 1 as:


- Vocabulary (Daily activities and household chores)


- Grammar (Simple present tense, time expressions, questions with How often, and the frequency adverbs). They will write all information.





Tuesday 1st


Students will have their Unit 1 test. The test will be written (Unit 1 test "Activities").





Wednesday 2nd


The students will work hard at the lab. They need to do Unit 5 exercises(15 squares) to practice. Then the students will check their WB answers.





Thursday 3rd


We´ll start Unit 9 "Weather and Ongoing Activities"


The teacher will explain Unit 9 Vocabulary (page 76) and the VOCABULARY BOOSTER (V6). The students will answer exercise B. They will make weather comments from Cananea. They will describe their clothes, too.





Friday 4th


The students will read exercise D of page 76 (unit 9) and give examples to the rest of the students. The teacher will correct if necessary. The teacher will explain grammar onpage 77 (Present continuous: yes/no questions). After that the students will answer exercise F on page 77 and together we´ll practice the conversation "Describe today´s weather".





HW: Students will answer all WB Lesson 1 (unit 9)

Week 3



February 21-25



Monday 21st


1. The students will answer Lesson 2 of the workbook.
2. The teacher and students will check the correct answers.
3. The students will ask if they have dubts about the topics in this unit.



Tuesday 22nd


1. The students will have a vocabulary quiz of Unit 8.
2. The students will evaluate themselves.
3. The students will pronunciate each word and then the
teacher will evaluate them.



Wednesday 23rd

1. The students will answer Lesson 4 of the lab (Level 1).
Thursday 24
1. The teacher will explain the grammar of page 72.
2. The students will answer exercise B on page 72.
3. Using the frequency adverbs the students will answer part C of
page 72.
4. The students will answer exercise D on page 73.
Friday 25
1. The teacher will play the cd to listen and practice the conversation
of page 73.
2. Pair work
3. Reading on page 74
4. Writing and Discussion
5. Unit Wrap-up
HW: Finish the workbook and study for the test (next Monday).

Week 2

February 14-18

Monday "Happy Valentine´s Day"!!!
1. The students will check the grammar with the teacher´s explanation
2. The teacher will play the cd to listen and practice the pronunciation of the third-person singular verbs.
3. The students will write sentences using the third person with the words from the vocabulary (A).

HW: the students will write sentences with the third person verbs (talking about activities that their family members do).


Tuesday 15

1. The students will answer exercise D of page 69.
2. The teacher will play the cd to listen and practice the conversation (in pairs).3. The students will listen to the vocabulary (A, page 70).
4. The students will answer exercise B on page 70 and then we´ll check the correct
answers.

Wednesday 16

1. The students will answer Lesson 1 of the workbook
2. Checking the correct answers and solving some problems or dubts.

Thursday 17

1. Pair work (page 71, D)

2. The teacher will play the conversation to listen and practice.

3. The students will work in pairs (explainind their own shcedules).



Friday 18


1. The students will write their onw schedules...

1. The students will fill a form with their own personal information
2. The students will have a dynamic (conversation in pairs) sharing
their personal information


Friday 11th

1. The teacher will explain Daily activities (page 68)
2. The students will write sentences using the vocabulary (about their activities)
